Grilled Chicken Curry-Under $10

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • (2-inch) piece ginger, grated
  • 1 lb chicken tenders

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat grill for 10 minutes.

  2. Combine yogurt, cayenne pepper, garlic, curry powder, cumin, salt, turmeric, and ginger in a large bowl. Add chicken and marinate for 3 hours.

  3. Grill chicken over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

  4. Divide chicken among plates and garnish with cilantro, if desired.
